There are no minimum order quantities. However, shipping charges for orders under $30 are a flat $3.50. Orders over $30 incur a 13% shipping charge.

1. Matting Boards
Crescent® Matting Crescent® is the leading manufacturer of matting products for the picture framing industry. The Picture Frame Guys are particularly impressed by the company’s focus on innovation and design over the years. We offer three grades of Crescent® matting: 1) Decorative, 2) Select and 3) Ragmat. Crescent® Decorative This is the most basic type of paper mat. It is made of wood pulp that is buffered with calcium carbonate to slow the damage caused by the acid. It is suitable for temporary displays such as school projects and is not considered conservation grade. Yellowing of the core will begin after a few months. Crescent® Select These mat boards are made of wood pulp fibers that have been chemically treated to eliminate the acids and lignins that can degrade the matboard and the artowrk. 2. Mounting Board (Foam Board)

Mounting Board
Mounting board, also called foam board, is made of a polystyrene core which is bonded between high quality papers on either side to create a lightweight, rigid and ultra smooth board. It resists warping and cuts cleanly. We sell three types of foam board: 1) standard, 2) acid-free and 3) self-adhesive.

Standard Clay Coat Foam Board

This is an ideal foam board for general applications . Laminated on both sides with clay-coated papers, providing a smooth surface and clean cuts. It is ideal for many types of mounting projects.

Acid-Free Foam Board

Acid-free foam board is the ideal choice for conservation mounting applications. The face papers contain no lignin, gourd wood or rosin sizing and are laminated to an inert, extruded polystyrene foam center. The pH value is between 7.5-9.5 and the papers are buffered with a 3-5% alkaline reserve.

Self-adhesive Foam Board

This foam board is useful for posters, digital photographs and other replaceable items. The glue is activated when pressure is applied, so you will have plenty of time to set the artwork in place.
